You’ve probably heard of pheromones, but like most people you’re still pretty skeptical. These are supposedly ‘invisible’ chemicals that your body secretes. Other people are supposedly able to smell these chemicals, and this can affect how they interact with you. Even though you might be a skeptic science has proven that all of this is actually true. Research has shown that your body gives off a certain scent and this scent can be unsuspectingly picked up by other people.
There are a number of different kinds of pheromones that many people may or may not be familiar with. For instance, there are such things as “releaser pheromones.” Releaser pheromones are unique because they’re so fast acting. When these pheromones are released the recipient responds almost immediately. These are the pheromones that usually stimulate the sexual attraction between two people and are arguably the best pheromones for men and women.
Your body also gives off “primer pheromones.” Unlike releaser pheromones, primer pheromones take a much longer time to elicit a response. Although the reaction to these chemicals is a lot slower they’re still effective in their own way. For instance, primer pheromones can affect whether or not a women becomes successful in getting pregnant. These same hormones can also affects things like puberty and menstrual cycles.
Signaler and modulator pheromones are two additional pheromone types. “Signaler pheromones” are unique to women and play a significant part in the connection shared between a mother and her child. These chemicals apparently allow mothers to pick up the scent of their newborn children. “Modulator pheromones” interact with the bodily functions of various people. For instance, when women occupy the same close space over the course of an extended period of time, they may begin to synchronize their monthly cycles.
As you can see, pheromones are very interesting chemicals. Even though you can’t see them you can rest assured that they’re present. It’s likely that you come in contact with various pheromones every single day. Some of them will affect your sexual attraction to another person, and others will affect your chances of becoming pregnant. If you’re still skeptical, consider reading up on pheromones to see how they’re constantly effecting your life.
